The aim of this site is to share information about the way to improve foreign language teaching/learning processes (and native language ones too, why not?) by considering the different proposals included in the Humanistic Approaches to FLT. They are one of the most interesting tendencies to consider in the field of the methodological proposals to be used when teaching/learning a foreign language.
They are not completely new but they are recovering strength and validity because they foster a respectful attitude towards the people involved in these processes making of the pupils a key element. They also help them make the most of themselves, be more autonomous to learn all life long, motivate them by reducing by the affective filter and make them feel more emotionally/intellectually rewarded.
